What Does An Art Therapy Session Look Like? Cont.

When the art enters the therapy space, the client then has an opportunity to change the narrative, add support, make choices or take away what no longer feels safe. The art becomes a metaphor for what the client is emotionally healing.

Clients are invited to take up emotional and literal space, explore play, reconnect to the body and to take safe risks. The client is supported through the entire process as they work along side the professionally trained Art Therapist.

Each session is the perfect blend of psychology and creative expression that is structured to work towards the client’s individual therapeutic goals.
